For long, cold nights
Winter is the best imaging season: the nights are long and Orion, the Pleiades and the Rosette are up. It is also when sessions end early. Lithium batteries give noticeably less in the cold, so keep spare power banks in an inside pocket until you need them, and if the scope has a dew heater, run it from the start rather than after the lens has misted.
